Five signs placed along the first quarter mile of Redwood Trail guide you through simple, accessible activities designed to bring the theme of Mutualism to life.

You will breathe with the forest, then creatively move and respond to what you encounter along the way, such as a redwood reaching towards the sun, a flowing creek, or a moss-covered rock.

This self-guided exploration ends at a creekside grove, where drawing and poetry inspired by your movement explorations complete the experience.

  • Community Art Along the Self-Guided Eco-Somatic Expressive Arts Walk

Make your way along the self-guided trail to the redwood grove, where you will then engage in community expressive art making with other participants- inspired by the prompts provided as part of the eco-somatic expressive arts walk.

    Art materials provided.

  • I grew up in the East Bay where I developed an appreciation for the outdoors. After high school I majored in Design at UC Davis, with a focus on graphics and textile design. After college I was living in Berkeley and working in the design field when I first got into foraging wild mushrooms via an interest in cooking. It was around this time I began developing the first of my wild mushroom designs, the golden chanterelle. Today, my goods can be found at Bay Area farmers markets, mushroom fairs and online at Etsy.

  • Inspired by the philosophy of Kintsugi, my work explores beauty found in imperfection, resilience, and transformation. I am drawn to the stories carried by objects, materials, and people—especially the marks left by time, experience, and repair. Through my art, I celebrate the idea that what has been broken is not diminished, but enriched by its history.

Using a blend of texture, color, and found elements, I create pieces that honor both fragility and strength. Each work reflects a belief that flaws, scars, and changes are not something to hide, but something to embrace as part of a unique and evolving story.

My art invites viewers to see value in the imperfect, recognize beauty in the unexpected, and appreciate the ways in which healing and transformation can create something even more meaningful than what existed before.

  • Light-infused, vibrant, dynamic, unique pieces created in the heart of the Napa Valley! Inspired by working and living in Italy, as well as by my rock-hounding adventures, my mosaic creations feature stained glass, dichroic glass, crystals, semi precious stones, and abalone.
