Celebrating Success: Harvest Dinner & Auction Raises Over $350,000 for Our State Parks!

Thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored, and contributed to help us raise over $350,000 for our state parks! Your generosity and enthusiasm are truly inspiring, and we’re excited to continue raising awareness about the importance of preserving these lands.

Thank you to our presenting sponsor, Tom Gamble of Gamble Family Winery, for his steadfast support and commitment to our parks. We also extend our gratitude to the elected officials who attended, including Tracy Krumpen, District Director for Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry; Napa County Supervisors Anne Cottrell and Ryan Gregory; Anna Chouteau, City of St. Helena Councilmember; and a special thank you to Congressman Mike Thompson for delivering an inspiring speech. Legislative Support for Our Parks

Last week, Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry visited the Bale Grist Mill and Bothe-Napa Valley State Park, accompanied by her dedicated staff. During the visit, they explored the park’s natural beauty and learned about the ongoing efforts to preserve and enhance these vital public spaces. We are grateful for her interest and commitment to protecting our natural resources and enriching the community!

Napa Fall Wine Country Trail Run

Envirosports hosted the 32nd Annual Napa Fall Wine Country Trail Run, welcoming runners to take on the Marathon, Half Marathon, or 10K courses through the scenic trails of Bothe-Napa Valley State Park. Participants experienced the beauty and challenge of the outdoors as they navigated through the forests, up the hills, and across rocky terrain. We look forward to seeing everyone back for the spring run on March 22nd!

Discovering Napa Valley's Roots

Old Mill Days at the Bale Grist Mill brought Napa Valley's agricultural history to life. Families engaged in hands-on activities like woodworking and apple pressing, while children crafted corn husk dolls. Visitors enjoyed lively old-time music, toured the mill, and watched demonstrations of wool spinning and a replica Civil War musket firing. This engaging event provided a memorable experience that connected attendees of all ages to the region's rich heritage!

Old Mill Holidays

Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park
Experience the charm of the holidays at Old Mill Holidays! Enjoy hands-on activities, festive music, and the rich history of the Bale Grist Mill, perfect for families and visitors of all ages.

Join us for a morning of holiday crafts at Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park! Enjoy the sounds of folk music and carols as hot apple cider simmers on the wood-burning stove. Children can write letters to Santa using quill pens and seal them with wax, while families create beautiful wreaths and garlands from fresh rosemary, fir, and toyon berries to take home.

As you explore the historic mill, don’t miss the live demonstrations of traditional grain milling. You can also make clove-studded pomanders, decorate gingerbread men, string cranberry and popcorn garlands, weave wheat ornaments, and cut paper snowflakes to add to your holiday decorations.

This annual tradition is a favorite among families and friends, so gather your loved ones and join us for a memorable holiday experience filled with crafts and a touch of history!
